A California native, Sarah holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. Sarah Astles (Sarah Catherine Amne) was the President of Azure, Inc., her third startup since leaving Apple in 2002. She currently is the CEO of the International Space Federation, and its subsidiaries; ISF France, Resonance Science Foundation, ARK Crystal, and Torus Tech.

Sarah was Silicon Valley’s Mountain View’s 2017 Business Person of the Year. Having owned businesses in Mountain View for seventeen years, Sarah has been a great advocate for the city. She was board president of the Central Business Association for several years, representing 300 businesses, and a board member of the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce. She promotes the interests of small business, presenting their perspective on issues.

Sarah has been active in the Business Issues & Public Policy (BIPP) Committee, identifying and acting on key business and community issues. Areas of focus include local, state and federal legislative issues, as well as business and industry related issues such as transportations, development, environmental health & safety, regulation and business trends.

Aside from her business interests, Sarah loves worldwide travel, having visited over seventy-five countries. She also enjoys time in nature and hiking. She currently splits her time between California, France, and Switzerland.
